Lift Station Pumping
Lift Stations are tanks that collect sewage then a pump will pump the waste to the sewer pipes. Lift Stations are usually used when the sewer line is not deep enough for the drain of the building.
If you have ever seen a house that the land it is on is lower than all the surrounding land, it is using a lift station to pump the sewage to the sewer which is above it, yet buried.
Lift stations can be from 40 gallons to 1000's of gallons.
